Regulations & requirements
Food shipments to the USA require FDA registration of the manufacturing facility and FDA Prior Notice before arrival. Under FSMA’s Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) the importer verifies its supplier; we provide the documents and analyses needed for this process.
In the USA, sulphites above 10 ppm must be declared on the label, and the Nutrition Facts panel must follow FDA format. Canada requires CFIA compliance and bilingual English–French labelling.
This information is a general guide; we confirm current regulations with you before each order.
