Regulations & requirements

What to know when exporting to the EAEU.

In the Eurasian Economic Union, food safety is governed by technical regulation TR CU 021/2011 and labelling by TR CU 022/2011; a declaration of conformity is obtained and the packaging carries the EAC mark.

Plant products require a phytosanitary certificate, and in Russia import controls are carried out by Rosselkhoznadzor. A Russian-language label and the details of an importer established in the EAEU are mandatory.

This information is a general guide; we confirm current regulations with you before each order.
