Overseas manufacturers exporting food to China must be registered in the GACC (General Administration of Customs of China) system under Decree No. 248. Products must comply with GB standards and, for plant products, the relevant quarantine requirements.
Labels must be in Chinese in line with GB 7718 and include importer details. The sales channel (general trade or cross-border e-commerce) can change the requirements.
