About the product
Dried apricots have been Goldland Food’s speciality since the day we were founded. Picked at full ripeness in Malatya’s orchards, the apricots are sulphured before drying to preserve their colour and then dried naturally in the sun for several days.
After washing, moisture balancing, sizing and optical sorting at our facility, the product is offered in nine sizes from Jumbo to Size 8 and in Extra, Class 1 and Industrial grades. SO₂ is kept below 2000 ppm in line with EU legislation.
With its bright orange colour, soft texture and balanced sweetness it is one of the most popular dried fruits on retail shelves, in breakfast and snack categories and in bakery.

Türkiye is by far the world leader in dried apricot exports, and Malatya is the heart of that production. High altitude, hot and dry summers and abundant sunshine give the Malatya apricot its unique aroma and sugar balance.

Jumbo is the largest size, with 61–80 pieces per kilogram. It is preferred for premium retail and gift packs.
In our sulphured dried apricots SO₂ is kept below 2000 ppm in line with EU legislation; lower values can be supplied according to destination-market requirements.
Diced and rice-floured products can be prepared from industrial grade apricots on request. Please confirm the specification with our sales team.
