About the product
Sun-dried apricots are Malatya’s most traditional product. Apricots ripened on the branch are dried naturally in the sun without sulphur or any other additive.
Because no sulphur is used, the fruit darkens naturally during drying, gaining its deep brown colour, caramel-like aroma and more intense sweetness. Ideal for clean-label consumers and natural product categories.
Offered in the same sizes (Jumbo–Size 8) and grades as sulphured apricots, with moisture kept below 24%.

Known for generations in Malatya as “gün kurusu”, this method dries the apricot using only sun and wind. The result is the apricot in its purest form.
